The app also monitors how frequently they offer replacements for items and the percentage of shoppers who accept grocery-picking positions. Employees will be reminded by the app to keep shopping if an item isn’t scannable within 15 minutes.

Bruno stated that Amazon measures units per hour (UPH) to show how fast shoppers are able to pick up their items. He said that each Whole Foods store has an UPH target. The number in his store is 66.

Bruno stated, “If it is very low, such as in the 40s,” they will discuss it with you and may terminate your employment if you are too low.
