McDonald’s says Russia store closures to cost $50 million per month -Breaking

(Reuters: McDonald’s Corp. (NYSE:) stated Wednesday that temporary closings of the 847 Russia-based McDonald’s stores would cost McDonald’s approximately $50 million per month.

According to the company, it announced Tuesday that all Russian locations of its restaurant chain including Pushkin Square would be temporarily closed. The announcement comes amid increasing pressure for other brands around the world to stop operations in Russia after Moscow invaded Ukraine.
