WarnerMedia says it will pause all new business in Russia -Breaking

(Reuters) – AT&T (NYSE:)’s WarnerMedia unit will pause all new business in Russia in response to the invasion of Ukraine, WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar said in a note to staff on Wednesday.

The company will suspend Russian television broadcasts, stop new content licensing agreements and put an halt to planned theatrical and video releases.

Kilar stated in the note that “we are closely following this situation.” Kilar said that future business decisions would be made keeping this context in mind.
