Goldman Sachs to exit Russia -Breaking

(Reuters) – Goldman Sachs Group Inc (NYSE:), announced Thursday that it would close its Russian operations, making it the first Wall Street bank to leave Russia following the invasion of Ukraine by Moscow.

The bank sent an email statement saying that Goldman Sachs was ceasing to operate in Russia as per regulatory and licensing requirements.

The bank disclosed in its previous annual filing that it had a $650 million credit exposure to Russia.
