JPMorgan ChaseThe largest U.S. bank in terms of assets is leaving Russia.

Tasha Pelos, company spokeswoman, stated in an email that “In conformity with directives from governments around the globe”, she had been unwinding Russian companies and stopped pursuing new Russian business.

She said that Russia was not a part of the bank’s business. They were only involved in helping clients to resolve and pay off pre-existing liabilities, managing Russian-related risks and acting as custodians to their clients.
