Texas top court rules against clinics in challenge to abortion law -Breaking

(Reuters] – Texas’s top court ruled Friday that all state officials, even those charged with licensing doctors, have no part in enforcing a law prohibiting most abortions.

A lawsuit was filed by clinics against these officials over SB8, which bans abortions in the first six weeks after a woman is born. This law allows anyone to sue private citizens who aids a woman seeking an abortion.
