© Reuters. Saudi Arabia stock prices higher at the close of trade. Tadawul AllShare up 2.00%Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
The Saudi Arabian close saw the exchange rate rise 2.00%.
Saudi Arabian Mining Company, (SE:) rose 9.91% or 11.00 point to trade at 122.00 by the closing. Etihad Etisalat Co. (SE:) gained 9.88%, or 3.80 points, to reach 42.25 Saudi Aramco Late trade saw a rise of 5.81% (or 2.25 points) in the SSE index to 41.00
Saudi Electricity Company, which lost 9.92% (or 3.05 points) to close at 27,70 was the worst performer of the session. Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company, (SE) fell 2.40 percent to finish at 102.00. Walaa cooperative insurance company SJSC (SE) dropped 2.22% to 16.70.
The Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpassing declining stocks by 156 percent to 68 percent, while 12 ended the same.
Etihad Etisalat Co’s shares rose to 5 year highs. This is an increase of 9.88%, or 3.80 to 42.25. Walaa Cooperative insurance Company SJSC shares (SE:), fell by 2.22%, or 0.38, to its 52-week lowest; it was down 0.38 to 16.70
The price of crude oil in April delivery rose 0.38 or 0.37 percent to $96.81 per barrel. Brent oil fell 0.06 percent to $99.85 per barrel in commodity trading. The April Gold Futures contract dropped 0.93% to $1,9111.75 an ounce.
EUR/SAR increased 0.64% from 4.13 to 4.13 while USD/SAR remained unchanged at 0.02% to 3.75.
