VP Harris’s top press aide leaves for the Defense Department -Breaking

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – Vice President Kamala Harris’s deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh reports to the Department of Defense. According to internal emails that list staff changes within her office, Singh has been promoted to this position.

Harris hired Singh as her first communications manager in March 2020. Harris hired her to run communications for the transition. She served as the interim president until the end of the Trump administration.

Symone Sanders, the senior advisor and chief spokesperson for the vice president, and Ashley Etienne (communications director) have both left the team.

Ernesto Apreza (currently in the White House Office of Public Engagement) will serve as Harris’ press secretary. Ernesto Apreza, who currently works in the White House Office of Public Engagement, will be Harris’ new deputy press secretary. He has previously been involved with both Harris’ 2020 campaign and Biden-Harris’ campaign for 2019.

Harris also has promotions for Rachel Palermo and Herbie Ziskend. Ziskend will be a senior communication adviser. She currently serves as the deputy communications director. Palermo will be the deputy communications director.
