The Sydney closing bell saw the rise of 1.05%.
Kogan.com Ltd. ASX: was among the top performers during the session. It rose 12.02%, or 0.59 points, to trade at 5.50 by the close. Meanwhile, Pointsbet Holdings Ltd (ASX) was 10.32% higher or 0.36 point to close at 3.85. Zip Co Ltd, (ASX) rose 10.14% to 1.57 or 0.15 points in late trade.
These were the worst performers of the session. Gold Road Resources Ltd (ASX:), fell 3.28%, or 0.06 points, to trade at 1.62 by the close. Graincorp Ltd (ASX) fell 2.76%, or 0.24 points, to finish at 8.45. Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd was down 2.2% or 1.90 to 83.84.
On the Sydney Stock Exchange, rising stocks outnumbered those in decline by 903, 484 and 378 respectively.
The , which measures the implied volatility of S&P/ASX 200 options, was down 8.46% to 16.53.
For April delivery, gold futures rose 1.31% (or 25.10) to $1.934.30 an ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil rose 2.80%, or 2.66, to reach $97.70 per barrel. The May Brent oil contract rose 3.14 or 3.08, to trade at $101.10 per barrel.
AUD/USD was stable at 0.73 and AUD/JPY was up 0.34% at 86.83
