The April delivery of Gold Futures was up 0.6%, or 3.10 to $1.932.40 per troy ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil for May delivery rose 6.08% to $109.17 per barrel. The May Brent oil contract rose 6.99% to $114.92 per barrel.

EUR/USD was stable at 1.10, and EUR/GBP was steady at 0.16 to 0.84.
