Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

Frankfurt closed with the index up 1.02% and the rise in the stock market. The index gained 0.74% at closing, while the index rose 1.13%.

These were the best performers of the session Deutsche Bank AG NA O.N. (DE:) rose by 5.61%, or 0.62 points, to close at 11.70. Puma SE, DE: gained 3.23% to reach 78.08. Airbus Group SE, DE: was up 2.75% to 108.24.

They were also the session’s worst performers Daimler Truck Holding AG (DE:) fell by 1.00%, or 0.25 point to close at 24.18. Merck KGaA(DE:) fell 0.94%, or 1.75 points, to finish at 184.80 Delivery Hero AG (DE:) fell 0.43% (0.18 points) to 41.41

Top performers in the MDAX were Nemetschek AG O.N. (DE:), which rose 10.04%, to 89.84 Beiersdorf AG O.N. (DE:), which was up by 4.34% and settled at 91.82 Commerzbank AG O.N. (DE:), which closed at 7.32 after gaining 3.64%

They were among the most disappointing. Rheinmetall AG (DE:), which fell 3.70% to 179.10 in late-trade, Jungheinrich AG O.N.VZO, which fell 2.49% to 32.12, and Carl Zeiss Meditec AG(DE:), which dropped 1.74% at 146.50 by the end.

Nemetschek AG O.N. was the top performer on the TecDAX. (DE:) which rose 10.04% to 89.84, S&T AG (DE:) which was up 8.65% to settle at 16.95 and Verbio Vereinigte Bioenergie AG (DE:) which gained 6.29% to close at 71.80.

They were among the most disappointing. Morphosys AG O.N. (DE) was 9.01% lower at 23.08 in late-trade, Carl Zeiss Meditec AG [DE:] lost 1.74%. It settled at 146.50 Use Freenet AG NA (DE) was at close of business, down by 1.20% to 23,80
