These were the best performers of the session Scientific and Medical Equipment House Company CJSC(SE:) rose 5.38%, or 3.50 point to trade at 68.50 by the close. Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SE) gained 5.37%, or 0.90 points, to close at 17.66 Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati Stationeries Co. (SE) saw a 4.44% increase or 1.60 point to 37.60 by late trade.
Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC(SE:) were the worst-performing session, falling 4.16% (or 0.84 points) to close at 19.36. Methanol Chemicals Company declined 4.01%, or 1.85 points, to reach 44.25. Etihad Etisalat Company was down 3.76% (or 1.60 points) to 40.90.
The Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange witnessed rising stocks outnumbering declining stocks 140 to 77, while 20 was unchanged.
Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC Shares (SE:) dropped to 52-week lowests. They lost 4.16%, or 0.84, to 19.36.
Crude oil rose 4.38%, or 4.79, to $114.06 per barrel for May delivery. Brent oil rose 5.21 percent to $120.69 per barrel in commodity trading. The April Gold Futures contract traded at $1,932.10 an ounce.
EUR/SAR declined by 0.39% from 4.12 to 4.12 and USD/SAR remained unchanged at 0.00% from 3.75 to 3.75.
At 98.74, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.22%.
