(Reuters) – Britain’s Prince Harry and his wife Meghan on Wednesday graced the cover of Time magazine’s annual 100 most influential people in the world issue.

Britney and Billie Eilish, along with Simone Biles (olympic gymnast) are included in the same list.

Harry and Meghan, who resigned from their royal duties and made the move to California last year, appear on one of seven covers worldwide highlighting honorees.

This photo features the Duke and Duchess, as well as Meghan, casually dressed against a backdrop of trees.

Edward Felsenthal, Time magazine’s editor-in-chief, said that the 100 list includes “extraordinary leaders around the globe working to create a better tomorrow” and who have “in a time of crisis leapt into the fray.”

The 100 list included 54 women. It is not ranked. The list also included political figures like former President Donald Trump, U.S. Vice-President Kamala Harris, and Joe Biden.

Harry and Meghan moved to the United States in 2020. The couple launched their Archewell Foundation, and also made deals for TV and podcast productions.

Jose Andres (the chef who supported the World Kitchen charity that is a partner with the Archewell Foundation) wrote that the couple should have spoken out in tribute.

“That’s not what Harry and Meghan do, or who they are…In a world where everyone has an opinion about people they don’t know, the duke and duchess have compassion for the people they don’t know. They don’t just opine. They run toward the struggle,” Andres wrote.

Spears, 39 was named to the list after she made it on the first day of an ongoing struggle to end a conservatorship which has ruled her business and personal affairs since 2013.

Paris Hilton wrote about Spears’ “Stronger”, saying that she “embodies joy” in spite of her difficulties. We stand with her, we listen and support her in her efforts to turn pain into purpose. Her unwavering spirit is stronger than ever.

Megan Thee Stallion, rapper, wrote about Eilish seven times Grammy winner who received her own cover. Megan called Eilish “a unique spirit” and said that she “stands for herself and advocates women everywhere.”

On Friday, the special edition of Time will go on sale.
