BAE Systems says ready to support new U.S., UK, Australia defence partnership By Reuters

LONDON (Reuters) – British defence company BAE Systems (OTC:), which makes nuclear submarines for the UK, said it was ready to support a new defence partnership between the United States, Australia and Britain called AUKUS.

A spokeswoman from BAE Systems stated that the company has a strong presence on all three markets and was ready to help with AUKUS negotiations as they proceed.

Australia will now build eight nuclear-powered submarines under the AUKUS deal.
