[ad_1]
- Crypto.com suspects fraudulent activity from its fraud prevention system.
- To replace those cards, the company is now issuing new cards.
- The majority of affected people are Canadian.
A tweet by Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek stated that the company will reissue a few of its credit cards because they believe hackers attempted to steal them. According to Kris’ tweet, only a few Canadian residents were affected by the unfortunate event.
We’re proactively re-issuing a small number of cards that were flagged by our fraud prevention systems due to suspicious activity. The affected accounts were immediately closed and new cards will be sent to the users.
