Malaysia says auditor KPMG to pay $80 million in 1MDB settlement By Reuters

KUALA LUMPUR – KPMG audit has agreed to pay $80 million to Malaysia to end all claims relating their fiduciary duties in auditing 1Malaysia Development Berhad (MDB) accounts 2010-12.

In a statement, the Finance Ministry stated that this settlement would end a July lawsuit against KPMG.

KPMG has not yet responded to my request for comment.
