Investing.com – France stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Paris, the declined 0.79% to hit a new 1-month low, while the index declined 0.70%.

The best performers of the session on the were Alstom SA (PA:), which rose 3.47% or 1.08 points to trade at 32.24 at the close. Meanwhile, Kering SA (PA:) added 2.36% or 14.70 points to end at 637.20 and Hermes International SCA (PA:) was up 1.39% or 17.50 points to 1277.50 in late trade.

ArcelorMittal SA: (AS) was the worst performer of the session, falling 4.16% or 1.18 point to trade at 27,21 at close. Veolia Environnement VE SA, (PA) fell 2.98% (or 0.84 point) to trade at 27.36. STMicroelectronics NV was down 2.75% (or 1.10 points) to 38.89.

The top performers on the SBF 120 were Compagnie Plastic Omnium SE (PA:) which rose 4.10% to 22.32, Sopra Steria Group SA (PA:) which was up 3.87% to settle at 179.70 and Alstom SA (PA:) which gained 3.47% to close at 32.24.

JC Decaux SA(PA:), which fell 9.29% at 20.90 in the late trade, CGG SA [PA:] which lost 4.26% and settled at 0.629, and ArcelorMittal SA (“AS:”) which dropped 4.16% to 27,21 at close.

344 stocks fell on Paris Stock Exchange, while 252 were up. 97 stock ended unchanged.

Sopra Steria Group SA shares (PA:), rose to new 3-year highs, rising by 3.87% (6.70 to 179.70).

The implied volatility of the CAC 40 options was measured by the. It was unchanged at 0%, to 18.96, a 6-month high.

The December delivery of Gold Futures was lower by 0.20%, or 3.55 to $1753.15 per troy ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil fell 0.98 or 1.35% to $71.58 per barrel in October. The November Brent oil contract dropped 1.16%, or 0.88, to $74.79 per barrel.

EUR/USD dropped 0.26%, to 1.1734. EUR/GBP climbed 0.00% to 0.8553.

US Dollar Index Futures were up 0.2% at 93.140.
