U.S. CBP agency shuts Del Rio border crossing amid influx in migrants By Reuters


MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on Friday said it would temporarily close the Del Rio border crossing with Mexico amid an influx of migrants.

CBP stated that the measure took effect immediately. Traffic at Del Rio (Texas) will be diverted 57 miles (93km) east to Eagle Pass border crossing.
