(Reuters) – FBI agents on Monday were seen entering the Florida home of the parents of Gabby Petito’s fiance Brian Laundrie, as her family waited for official identification of remains found in a Wyoming national park, close to where the couple was last seen together while on a cross-country van trip.

The FBI’s Tampa office said on Twitter (NYSE:) https://twitter.com/FBITampa/status/1439957009508544514?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Etweet it was executing a “court-authorized search warrant” relevant to the Petito investigation.

On Monday, North Port police in Florida stated that Brian Laundrie’s search had moved away from the Carlton Reserve. This vast area is located near North Port and on the West Coast of Florida. Law enforcement was combing it. Laundrie’s family said they believed he entered the area last week, according to police https://twitter.com/NorthPortPolice/status/1439237015090839554?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1439237015090839554%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.clickorlando.com%2Fnews%2Flocal%2F2021%2F09%2F18%2Fsearch-underway-at-florida-wildlife-reserve-for-gabby-petitos-fiance-police-say%2F.

According to a Monday statement, the department stated that it believes they have exhausted all possibilities in search of the area. Brian Laundrie is still being sought by law enforcement agencies.

According to FBI and Police agents, they have found “consistent evidence” that Petito was the body. Petito’s disappearance is still a topic of concern.

Petito’s family reported Petito missing Sept. 11, 10 day after Laundrie returned from her cross-country, months-long trip without her.

Two travel bloggers had filmed Petito and her van on a dirt road in Spread Creek, two days after Petito lost contact with her family.

Following the news conference, Joseph Petito posted a photo of Petito and his daughter to Twitter. She was shown standing between two wings painted by her father. The caption read: “She touched all the world.”

Laundrie was named as a “person-of interest” in this case, but he hasn’t been seen since he left his North Port home last Tuesday.

Laundrie did not speak to investigators prior to his disappearance, and retained a lawyer.

‘HEARTBROKEN’

North Port police said they learned from Laundrie’s family only on Friday that he had been missing for three days.

North Port police tweeted that Gabby was “saddened and deeply saddened” to announce the discovery. Her return has been our focus since her death. We are working together with the FBI and other national partners. In our search for answers, we will work closely with the FBI.

Petito and Laundrie departed her native New York state in June and traveled west in a van. They planned to stop at national parks on the route and also document the journey through social media.

Petito last posted her photo Aug. 25, She was believed to be heading to Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming by her family. On Aug. 24, she was last seen leaving a Salt Lake City hotel.

Police in Moab released footage from their body cameras last week of an Aug. 12-related encounter between two officers and the couple at a traffic stop.

Petito can be seen sobbing during the incident with Laundrie. She says it escalated into something physical. Petito and Laundrie were not taken into custody by the officers, however they demanded that the two spend the night together. Petito was to be in the van with Laundrie in a hotel.
