Adobe Earnings, Revenue Beat in Q3 By Investing.com

Investing.com – Adobe (NASDAQ:) reported on Tuesday third quarter that beat analysts’ forecasts and revenue that topped expectations.

Adobe reported earnings per share at $3.11 for revenue of $3.94B. Investing.com polled analysts and predicted EPS at $3.01 for revenue $3.9B.

Adobe shares rose 29% over the first of the year. However, they are down 4.13% from their 52-week peak of $673.88 which was set in September 3. They are outperforming the S&P 500 which is up 15.9% from the start of the year.

After-hours trading saw Adobe share prices fall by 4.02% following the announcement.

Adobe follows other major Technology sector earnings this month

Adobe’s report follows an earnings beat by Salesforce.com on August 25, who reported EPS of $1.48 on revenue of $6.34B, compared to forecasts EPS of $0.9246 on revenue of $6.24B.

The first quarter Oracle earnings beat forecasts by $1.03 with revenue of $9.73B. That compares to $0.9726 for revenue of $9.76B and the projections of EPS at $0.9726.
