(Reuters) – U.S. actor Leonardo DiCaprio is investing in and joining the advisory boards of Aleph Farms and Mosa Meat, the two cultivated meat start-ups said in a statement on Wednesday.

DiCaprio stated that Aleph Farms and Mosa Meat offer innovative ways to meet the demand for beef around the globe, as well as solving the most urgent issues in current industrial beef production.

As they begin to offer cultivated beef to the public, I’m delighted to be an investor and advisor.
