© Reuters (Reuters) – The European Medicines Agency (EMA) will likely decide in early October whether to endorse a third dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to be given half a year after the initial two-shot course.
Marco Cavaleri from the European Medicines Agency (EMA), head of vaccines strategy said Thursday that the results of this evaluation are expected in October, unless supplementary data is required.
Reuters had reported earlier that the EMA is expected to conclude on booster doses within October.
