HNA Group’s chairman taken away by police due to suspected crime

HONG KONG (Reuters) – China’s HNA Group chairman Chen Feng has been taken away by police due to suspected criminal offenses, according to a statement published on its official WeChat account on Friday.

HNA CEO Tan Xiangdong also was removed by the police due to suspected crimes, according to it.

According to the group, its restructuring and bankruptcy work are progressing well.
