FAAMG stocks account for more than one-third of the S&P 500, which is widely accepted as the best representation of the U.S. economy. These technology-oriented companies have seen significant growth over the past few years, keeping up with consumer demands. FAAMG stock performance should continue to be driven by the growing dependence on digital solutions. The technology sector is projected to grow to $5 trillion in 2021. Both AMZN and MSFT should reap the benefits.
