Malaysia targets GDP growth of 4.5-5.5% per annum until 2025

KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) – Malaysia is targeting economic growth of 4.5% to 5.5% per annum between 2021 and 2025, Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said on Monday.

Premier Ismail Sabri Yaakob launched Malaysia’s 5-year economic plan to 2025, stating that the government expected the Southeast Asian country’s financial situation to improve by 2023 if the economy grows.
