U.S. chipmaker Micron forecasts first-quarter revenue below estimates By Reuters

(Reuters) – Micron Technology Inc (NASDAQ:) on Tuesday forecast first-quarter revenue below Wall Street estimates, as shortages in chip-making materials appeared to be catching up with the memory chip maker.

Based on IBES data from Refinitiv., Micron Technology Inc. forecasts that current-quarter revenues will be $7.65 billion plus/minus $200 millions. Analysts, however, were expected to expect $8.57 billion.
