CEO of VW’s truck unit Traton replaced by Scania boss By Reuters

FRANKFURT, (Reuters) – The chief executive at Volkswagen’s Traton truck unit, Matthias Gruendler (DE:), will be leaving the company and being replaced by Christian Levin (Chairman of Traton subsidiary Scania), who will manage both companies.
Traton announced that Christian Schulz, Traton’s chief financial officer, will be leaving the company along with Gruendler. Annette Danielski will replace Schulz as CFO. She is currently Traton’s head of group finances.
Traton stated that the changes in management, which took effect Thursday, were made by Traton’s supervisory board. It was chaired and presided over by Hans Dieter Poetsch, VW non-executive chairman. According to the statement by Traton, there were no reasons given for these moves.
