WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. Department of Homeland Security said on Wednesday it intends to issue new memo in the coming weeks ending the “remain in Mexico” immigration program.
A memo was issued by the Department of Homeland Security in June to end the former president Donald Trump’s Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP) program. But, it was revoked after a Texas judge declared that MPP should be resumed.
