Scientists are continuously pursuing ways to lengthen the human lifespan, and blockchain might have been a missing part of the puzzle. Longevity Science Foundation in Switzerland, founded by leading biotech innovators and clinicians. The foundation aims for more than $1 billion to fund tech-based solutions to extend human life span to 120 years.

To fund new frontiers in four areas, the foundation is looking to support research, institutions, and projects using blockchain and other future-generation technology. The announcement states that such projects can make a significant difference in people’s lives even within a time window of five years.
