(Reuters) – BlackRock Inc (NYSE:) will require more than half of its employees to work from the office for three days a week on average starting November, according to an internal memo seen by Reuters on Thursday.

The memo by Rob Goldstein (COO) and Manish Mahta (Global Head of Human Resources), stated that some companies may need employees to visit the office more often.

According to the memo, BlackRock will allow employees to work flexible hours if their managers approve.

These new instructions will be applicable to all locations in the United States, Europe and Middle East, as part of BlackRock’s pilot program “Future of Work”. This will be applied in selected locations that satisfy certain requirements, such as not requiring splitting operations or masks on desks.

Fusion Media reiterated the fact that anyone entering U.S. offices must have been fully vaccinated. All employees as well as contractual workers will also need to be tested at least once weekly.
