Healthcare in 2021 – an interview with industry leading experts By BTC Peers

AI has been around for a long time even if you don’t notice it. AI is responsible for choosing the posts that you see each day. Every UBER route is determined by AI using hundreds of traffic parameters. This includes self-driving Tesla cars (NASDAQ:).
However, artificial intelligence is still far from being a major player in healthcare and medicine. We got a lucky chance to talk with the founders of DeHealth LLC — a digital health project that is going to change the current healthcare paradigm and make affordable quality healthcare available worldwide.
They’ve already accumulated almost 3,000,000 patients and more than 30,000 doctors on their centralized healthcare platform and, as we found out, are now looking towards providing clients with full control over their medical records by tokenizing this data. A self-learning AI-assistant is being developed by the team to keep you healthy and create a marketplace that allows for decentralized trading of medical services, goods and data.
Here is how our interview with Denis and Anna went:
What inspired you to launch DeHealth?
We were keen to launch an innovative eHealth solution that would prevent diseases and preserve health. You know that the potential to save millions of lives is very motivational.
Changing the entire healthcare paradigm from healing to preventing is an interesting task, to say the least, but that’s how we came up with DeHealth. The vertical we are trying to reconstruct modern medicine is the following: Earlier, the process of treating patients began at an appointment. It will now end there. You first have access to an artificial intelligence platform. This includes the complete knowledge base on human health and digital patient cards. With 90% of diseases you’ll be able to help yourself, contacting a doctor only when necessary: for example, to get a consultation or when you suffer from something worse than a regular cold.
Are you available to travel in these countries? Is there any plan to go global? What are your plans to get the word out about your project in countries that don’t speak English well?
DeHealth currently is only available in Eastern Europe. Our services have been used by over 2.7 million people. 32,000 doctors and 2.7 mil patients use our services. However, we expect to expand the number of countries that are connected by the year 2022. This includes Mexico, India (Switzerland), Switzerland, different CIS nations, and South Korea. The remaining EU members, as well as the whole of APAC and Latin America will be connected by 2023.
We have three main goals in our go-to–market strategy: to attract millions of people worldwide at low cost, hold back those who use the system and create a motivating environment to regularly replenish our medical records.
In countries that don’t speak English well, our partnership already includes an agency which can translate both our app as our web platform in Spanish, English, French and Russian.
People tend to be untruthful to anything that is “private”, will it be realistic to conclude contracts with government clinics and other public organizations in the countries?
A big part of modern healthcare is somewhat “private”. All seems possible now that we have launched a pilot program in Eastern Europe. DeHealth has already digitize all treatment protocols from the Ministry of Health. We have all licenses and permits. And we comply with all international safety standards. 95% of our clients come from medical facilities that are controlled by the government. The digital health card can be accessed by both doctors and patients. Doctors have access to all information on the card as well as the medical records. Patient data can be added, deleted, and managed.
A few days ago, during the 8th annual national conference on economic social and cultural rights Salima Namusobya, ED Initiative for Social & Economic Rights of Uganda claimed that there are certain social services that are critical to the individual and society like education, health, social protection and that they should not be left in the hands of the private sector. What can you say? https://twitter.com/ntvuganda/status/1438122207352348675
The healthcare paradigm is changing. We are seeing strong patient groups, who lobby for healthcare technology and modern information systems. Also, we are building such a community.
The main beneficiaries of healthcare are patients, and not the doctors or the government.
Another question is: who pays for this? These are not covered under current economic and medical standards. The solution is in cryptocurrency. The state isn’t interested in paying for someone’s personal treatment, but the people themselves are.
By switching to cryptocurrency, we can prevent social and economic problems and avoid the stratification of our society. We also eliminate poverty by ensuring that everyone has access to quality, affordable healthcare. DeHealth technologies will enable doctors to dig deeper into a disease and avoid the need for 800 additional tests that patients will pay.
The Public-Private Partnership in Eastern Europe will provide support for the project. https://medium.com/@DeHealth/the-public-private-partnership-ezdorovya-dehealth-and-the-transformation-of-the-healthcare-1e688d08a966
This opens up great opportunities for practical implementation – 30,000,000 citizens will get access to DeHealth, and we will receive lots of anonymized datasets to perfect our AI on and build a transparent market for medical data.
Which technologies will this project be able to use for medical diagnosis and treatment of disease?
Apple (NASDAQ) Watch is capable of measuring blood oxygenation. It was possible to add electrocardiography. Now it appears they are also monitoring blood glucose levels. And that’s just Apple, there are many more gadgets that can monitor your health 24/7 without causing any inconveniences. DeHeath employs a special API to obtain such data and send it directly to the patient’s electronic health card.
We are currently working to create our own gadget. DeHealth will run an advanced screening and transmit the results via a mobile application to his doctor. The data will be used to determine the best treatment and prescribe it.
The gadget also monitors the mind and energy informational status of your body. This will allow you to gain a better understanding of yourself. This is all done at a level of precision not possible in many labs.
The entire data set, which comes from many official sources, will help DeHeatlh train his artificial intelligence systems for predicting the onset and progression of Alzheimer’s, dementia, breast cancer, schizophrenia.
The platform will be accessible to all, particularly considering that DeHealth has a commitment to 3rd world (developing) countries and these countries are often having limited funding. This is the problem that DeHealth will solve.
DeHealth will allow people in developing countries to earn money by promoting their health. Anybody can use our cryptocurrency to mine it by maintaining a healthy lifestyle and following doctor recommendations. You also have the option of inviting your friends or engaging in other activities as part of our loyalty program. The tokens you earn can be later used to purchase subscriptions to our application or doctor services. Sell generated data and purchase something else. Consider your medical information an asset. It is key to longevity, and a better quality of life.
Your token is being introduced. How will the token be priced and regulated? Who are those who don’t know much about cryptocurrency?
Market forces will determine the initial price for the token through a Dutch auction. Our estimate is that the token will start at $ 0.1. We will do everything under Swiss supervision.
As for people who are not familiar with crypto, we’ll definitely add fiat payment methods. Our services will not require them to know anything about crypto.
One of the greatest questions of this digital age is the security of personal information. How are you using the information that has been sold? It is safe.
Denis, CEO of Dehealth is also the President of National Cybersecurity Association of Ukraine. He has 13+ years of experience in global IT and the business architecture of software products and platforms. He also serves as a member of both the GDPR Council of Ukraine and the Council for Cybersecurity of Ukraine. It’s safe to say we have that part covered. This team understands how to secure data transfers and also how to decentralize data storage. Each user has complete control of his own data.
There are currently more than 2.5 million registered users. What is the best way to increase that number and expand the reach of the platform to other countries?
This was a result of doctors and clinics working with us since we first tried the SaaS model. We have made some adjustments to the next business model. Subscriptions to our platform will be free for doctors and clinics. DeHealth offers a range of healthcare services, including an automated workstation for doctors. Our goal is to achieve 30,000,000 MAU in 2022, after we introduce both business and user subscriptions as well as a marketplace that offers healthcare services, products and data.
What do you think your project will look like in five years? In medical, technological, and crypto terms.
In 2026 we will be helping more than 200 million people to solve their healthcare problems each day. We also plan on achieving a $300B capitalization, saving 10,000,000 lives and having the highest quality AI in the health field.
