Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the gained 0.98% to hit a new 5-year high.
The best performers of the session on the were United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:), which rose 4.18% or 1.35 points to trade at 33.65 at the close. Meanwhile, Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (SE:) added 3.83% or 6.00 points to end at 162.80 and Batic Investments and Logistics Co (SE:) was up 3.39% or 1.45 points to 44.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Aseer Trading Tourism&Manufacturing (SE:), which fell 4.05% or 1.05 points to trade at 24.90 at the close. AlAhli Fund ofREITs (SE 🙂 lost 2.25% (or 0.32 points) to finish at 13.92. Saudi Research and Marketing Group, (SE :), was down 1.94% (or 3.20 points) to 162.00.
The Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpass declining stocks by 133 points to 61, while 13 of the remaining trades were unchanged.
United Cooperative Assurance Co.’s shares rose to new 5-year highs. They rose by 4.18%, or 1.35 to 33.65. The shares in Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC rose to new highs, up 3.83% (6.00-162.80).
Crude oil fell 1.11%, or 0.83, to $74.00/barrel for November delivery. Brent oil, which was due for delivery December 6, fell by 0.93%, 0.73, to reach $77.36/barrel. Meanwhile, the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.47 percent, or 25.40. It traded at $1748.30 per troy ounce.
EUR/SAR declined 0.09% at 4.3451, and USD/SAR dropped 0.01% to 3.7504.
US Dollar Index Futures were down 0.04 percent at 94.312.
