TAIPEI (Reuters) – Taiwan Central Bank Governor Yang Chin-long said on Thursday that the economy may grow 6% this year though that depends on trade and domestic consumption growth.

Yang addressed parliament and stated that Taiwan’s benchmark inflation rate must be considered in order to consider the effect of tightening the monetary policies of advanced nations like the United States.
