DailyCoin’s Crypto Memes of the Week #10 – A Journey Into the Philosophy of Absurdism By DailyCoin

We are all Sisyphi and life is absurd.
Absurdist philosophy is based on the conflict between our inner search for meaning in life and the inexplicable meaninglessness of this world. It is a difficult and intractable question that may not be answered. This contradiction is absurd because the human brain was programmed for the recognition of meaning. It’s a basic trait of our human nature to connect a word with its meaning as a unit of language.
However, one word can only be the tip. For example, the word “blockchain” has completely different semantic meanings for a developer, crypto hodler, NFT artists, or absurdist:

Crypto Sisyphus’ Myth
One of the most famous absurdist books became Albert Camus’ paper with the eponymous name to the well-known Greek myth. The story’s main theme is evident throughout the account of the philosopher. Sisyphus’ task of pushing a boulder up a mountain over and over again seems meaningless but the conclusion of the essay is
“The struggle alone… can fill a man’s heart. Sisyphus should be content.
Many modern jobs show the importance of this work. Crypto may be able to save you from boring office work, even if it seems like it might. Just look in the mirror.

There are three ways to resolve the Absurd Dilemma
Three possible solutions to the absurdist dilemma were found by the absurdist community. The first one is escaping existence, which was disregarded by Camus because it doesn’t solve the problem. The spiritual way involves belief in a transcendent concept.
Accepting the absurd is the third option. If you want the best freedom, this is your path. However, it’s not that easy. Camus was firm in his belief that such a way required both rebelling against the absurd and accepting its unstoppable power.
This means people must accept humanity’s nature, while opposing it. It sounds like yet another absurdity. On the other hand, isn’t it the same when a person buys high and sells low knowing it has to be vice versa?

Nihilism Partially explains Absurdism
Nihilism represents another strain of existentialist philosophy. The nihilist rejects some basic aspects of human life such as morality and values.
Are values meaningless? The cost of an NFT for Invisible Rock #91 amounts to 888.888 Ethereum. NFT holders may be nihilists. What is the best explanation for this contradiction between values and objects? It’s nothing but the irony that is life.
Rick Sanchez (NASDAQ:) is today’s most beloved nihilistic character. To be more precise, he’s a representative of cosmic nihilism, a branch of philosophical study. Rick is a believer in no human foundation, as evidenced by his actions and words.
You were warned about this language.

The Source of Absurdism is Existentialism
Contrary to nihilism and other forms of materialism, the basic idea behind existentialism states that essence precedes existence. It literally means that all things have a purpose and are created without meaning. The essence is also highly subjective.
It is also the Rubicon. Beyond this, things may take on other meanings. Take a look at the meanings of animal coins. Aren’t their meanings opposite to what crypto is supposed to be? Crypto is about technology and decentralization – meme coins are about hype and quick profits. It’s a twist in values.
