CNN reports that Gabby Petito (22-year-old Travel Blogger) was killed in a homicide. She had reported to police about a dispute she had with Brian Laundrie on Friday.

Network cited bodycam footage taken by a responder officer in August, which the network said gives further insight into their troubles.

Petito’s boyfriend was sought by police in connection with Petito and Laundrie’s cross-country road trip. She was accused of fraudulently using Petito’s debit card. Petito and Laundrie started their journey in June from her van. Along the way, they posted video clips on social networks.

Laundrie was 23 years old when a Wyoming grand jury indicted him for one count of illegally using Petito’s identification number and the card. In her death, he was not indicted.

CNN has obtained new footage of August that gives a glimpse at the problems between Petito (and Laundrie) in August. CNN reported that the video runs more than 52 minutes and Petito tells CNN officers that Laundrie had struck her. But she also hit him first.

However, police weren’t immediately available to comment.

The couple were stopped by police in Utah on August 12th after they received a report about domestic disturbance. The one-hour roadside confrontation, during which both were interrogated separately, didn’t result in either side being charged. The encounter was also recorded by police earlier.

Petito’s family reported Petito missing Sept. 11. Laundrie, who had left for the trip without Petito, returned to her home ten days prior. Since then, he is missing.

Petito’s corpse was found in September, west Wyoming.
