LONDON, (Reuters) – On Sunday in London, 22% and 60% of forecourts were without fuel, respectively, according to the Petrol Retailers Association, PRA (Sky News).

The PRA stated that the crisis had ended elsewhere in Britain including Scotland and the north and central England. 6% of the forecourts were dry.

Brian Madderson was the chairman of PRA. He said: “The fuel still isn’t going to the pumps who need it most in London or the south east.”

Britain’s military tanker drivers will be deployed to fuel stations from Monday. This is to stabilize the fuel supply after an unpredictable week, which saw panic-buying and fights at gas pumps, as well as drivers hoarding petrol in plastic bottles.
