AMC Gains as Venom, James Bond’s No Time to Die Set New Records By Investing.com

Investing.com – AMC stock (NYSE:) rose 1.5% on Monday in premarket trading following a record opening weekend collection by Venom: Carnage!And the latest Bond film, No Time To Die.
Multiplex operators claim they have new records post-reopening for worldwide attendance, admission revenue, and food and drink sales for one weekend.
Sony’s Carnage, please!It was the second-largest ever October film opening domestically, with an estimated $90million in ticket sales.
Tickets sales records were broken across Atlantic by the 25th James Bond film. One-day tickets admission revenues in the U.K. on Saturday were the highest ever for Bond movies since 1962, when the franchise launched.
AMC reported that more than 2 million people saw a film in its U.S. cinemas from Thursday to Sunday.
AMC Entertainment announced that the new high post-reopening weekend record of 3.9 Million attendance was achieved at its global locations.
