WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden spoke with Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, on Monday. The White House released a statement stating that the emphasis should be placed on “leveling the playing fields in international tax systems.”

The statement stated that Biden expressed strong support for the EU accession process of countries from the Western Balkans.
