Chinese developer Fantasia misses repayment deadline By Reuters

SINGAPORE (Reuters), a Chinese property developer Fantasia Holdings Group Co Ltd announced Monday that it has failed to repay $256 million in debts owed on October 4th. This was the latest indicator of financial distress in China’s property industry.

While the company stated that it had raised $500m in 2016, due in 2021. However, $206m remained unpaid and was due Monday. It stated that the company had not made the payment by Monday.
