India stocks higher at close of trade; Nifty 50 up 0.91% By Investing.com

Investing.com – India stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
The index rose by 0.91% at the NSE close, and the NSE closed with a gain of 0.91%.
Divi’s Laboratories Ltd. NS: was the best performer of the session, rising 8.04% to 388.40 point trades at 5220.70. In the meantime Hindalco Industries Ltd. (NS) increased 4.41%, or 21.35 point to reach 505.70 NTPC Late trade saw Ltd (NS) rise 4.04%, or 5.65 points, to 145.55

The BSE Sensex 30’s top performers were NTPC Ltd. (BO) who rose 4.08% at 145.55; Bajaj Finserv Ltd. (BO) which rose 3.58% at 17789.45; and State Bank Of India, (BO) which increased 2.50% at close at 463.05.
Bajaj Auto Ltd. (BO) was the worst performer, falling 0.75% at 3826.15 in trade late. Hindustan Unilever Ltd. was also down at 2686.55. Titan Company Ltd. (BO) was at 326.55.50.
On the India National Stock Exchange, rising stocks outnumbered those in decline by 1294 to 406 and 70 respectively. The Bombay Stock Exchange saw 2207 rise and 964 fall, and 175 ended the same.
