Citi appoints Pang to head clean energy banking in Asia By Reuters

HONG KONG (Reuters). Citigroup According to the statement by the bank, William Pang has been appointed head of the Natural Resources and Clean Energy Transitions (NRCET), Investment Banking Unit in Asia.

According to the statement, Pang joined Citibank in 2015. He will be leading infrastructure banking in Asia.

In an attempt to increase the bank’s sustainability coverage, three Citi banking groups were combined – power, energy and chemicals.

Jan Metzger, Citi AsiaPacific head of Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory, and Sandip Sen, co-heads globally at NRCET, will oversee Pang.

Metzger stated in the statement that “Clean Energy Transition is a global supertrend that is accelerating quickly and will last for decades.”
