LONDON (Reuters] – As supply increases to meet demand and inflationary pressures will decrease, Boris Johnson the British Prime Minister stated on Tuesday.

Johnson was asked during an interview with LBC about inflation risks resulting from the government’s push for higher wages. Johnson stated: “What are you seeing is demand. Growing demand sucking gas in Russia and wherever else, and you are also seeing global demand for truck drivers. That has an inflationary impact and when that clears then supply meets demand and inflation drops.”
