Investing.com – U.S. stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
The NYSE added 0.92% at the close, while the index increased 1.05% and the index increased 1.25%.

The top performers on the S&P 500 were ABIOMED Inc (NASDAQ 🙂 rose 5.93%, to 332.47. Invesco Plc(NYSE:), which was up at 5.27%, settled at 25.37. Netflix Inc NASDAQ : (NASDAQ 🙂 gained 5.21% and closed at 634.81.
They were among the most disappointing. Nektar Therapeutics (NASDAQ:), which fell 5.36% to 17.14 during late trade Ventas Inc (NYSE) lost 3.71% and settled at 54.20. Equinix Inc (NASDAQ) was lower at 760.07 at close.
Bit Digital Inc (NASDAQ) was the top performer on the NASDAQ Composite, rising 36.17% to 10.335, Marine Petroleum Trust (NASDAQ:) which was up 22.11% to settle at 6.130 and Jupiter Wellness Inc (NASDAQ:) which gained 20.47% to close at 1.530.
They were among the most disappointing. DatChat Inc (NASDAQ) was trading at a 24.29%-to-8.85 ratio in late trade. Mediaco Holding Inc (NASDAQ 🙂 lost 23.32% and settled at 8.120. Salem Media Group Inc (NASDAQ 🙂 was lower at 22.15% at 3.480.
The New York Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpass declining stocks by 1907 to 201301; 124 was unchanged. On the Nasdaq Stock Exchange 2094 rose while 1446 fell, while 161 ended the same.
Netflix Inc. shares rose to record highs. They rose by 5.21%, or 31.46 to 644.81.
