(Reuters] – The UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson will soon announce a hike in the minimum wages within weeks. He also pledges that he will end the “broken model” of a low-wage economy with low growth, The Times newspaper reported.

Johnson is open to the suggestions of outside advisers who are likely to raise the minimum wage to approximately 9.42 pounds per hour ($12.84), the newspaper reported.
