TOKYO (Reuters), Haruhiko Kunroda, Bank of Japan Governor said Wednesday that Japan’s economy is recovering, led in part by exports, but the recovery of Japan’s retail sector has been slow than the one in the United States.

Kuroda stated in an address at an online conference of the Japan-U.S. Business Conference, “If Japan can simultaneously preserve public health and increase consumption activities by the use of vaccine certificates, for instance, then the economic recovery trend will become more prominent.”
