Dapper Labs is targeting DAOs through Brud Acquisition
Dapper Labs acquired virtual influencer startup Brud from this week. This is the $7.5 million team that created NBA Top Shot, Flow Blockchain and Flow Blockchain. Trevor McFedries, CEO, announced Monday that Dapper Collective will be supporting communities to build decentralized autonomous organisations (DAOs) through the Flow Blockchain.
Brud is well-known for creating social media avatars. Most notably, Lil Miquela (a fictional 19 year-old Robot who lives in Los Angeles and has three million Instagram followers).
