Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

Tel Aviv closed at 0.87%.

These were the best performers of the session OPKO Health Inc TASE:, which increased 1.55% or 18 point to trade at 1181 by the close. During the meantime, OPC Energy Ltd (TASE) gained 1.38%, or 41 points, to close at 3007. Liveperson (TASE) gained 1.15%, or 220 points, to 4205 in late trade.

Phoenix Holdings Ltd. (TASE:) was the worst performer of the session, falling 3.69% or 135 point to close at 3525. Nice Ltd (TASE) fell 3.37%, or 3000 point to close at 86000. Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd was down 2.14 or 24 to 1100.

By 368 to 124, falling stocks outnumbered those in the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, and by 29 it was unchanged.

Crude oil fell 2.24%, or 1.77, to $77.16 per barrel in November. Brent oil, which was due for delivery in December, fell 2.23%, or 1.84, to reach $80.72/barrel. Meanwhile, the December Gold Futures contract increased 0.11%, or 1.95, to trade at $1762.85 per troy ounce.

The USD/ILS rose 0.2% to 3.2385 while the EUR/ILS declined 0.9% to 3.7390.

At 94.317, the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.57%.
