Sweden pauses use of Moderna COVID vaccine, cites rare side effects By Reuters

STOCKHOLM (Reuters), – Sweden will suspend the use Moderna The COVID-19 vaccine is available to people who were born in 1991 or later. This was after there have been reports of myocarditis and other rare side effects.

The Swedish Public Health Agency stated in a statement that it had taken the precautionary decision to discontinue use of Moderna’s vaccine Spikevax for anyone born between 1991 and 2002.

The cause indicates an increase in the risk of side effects like myocarditis or pericarditis. It said that the chance of getting affected was very low.
