Bitcoin rises 7.1% to $55,163 By Reuters

(Reuters) – At 20:01 GMT Wednesday, the price of $55,162.92 rose 7.11%, or $3,661.73 more than its prior close.

Bitcoin, world’s most popular cryptocurrency is now up 98.9% compared to Jan.’s $27,734 low.

Ether, the cryptocurrency linked to the blockchain network ethereum, rose 2.15 percent to $3591.72 Wednesday. It added $75.63 from its previous close.
