U.S. administers nearly 400 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines

(Reuters) – The United States had distributed 482,326,275 COVID-19 doses and administered 399.552,444 COVID-19 doses to the nation as of Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

These figures surpass the 398.675,414 vaccination doses that the CDC stated had reached arms as of Wednesday. They represent a significant increase from the 480.427.985 vaccine doses.

It stated that 216,268,034 people have received at least one dose of vaccines, and that 186618,184 had been fully vaccinated as per the agency’s estimates. This was in addition to the 186.618,184 who were complete vaccinated as at 6:00 a.m. ET, Thursday

The CDC tally also includes vaccines of two doses Moderna (NASDAQ:) and Pfizer/BioNTech, as well as Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:)’s one-shot vaccine.

A booster dose of one was administered to approximately 6.8 million individuals Pfizer Moderna’s vaccine (NYSE:) since August 13, 2013, when the U.S. approved a third dose for those with compromised immune systems, who may have less protection than the two-dose regimens.
